acts of kindness....
July 12, 2019: We never get tired of posting about a CSA share donation and therefore we will post it right now—we have just received our 3rd donation for an Every Other Week (half share) in our upcoming 2019-20 season. This donor is, just like our 2nd donor, my longtime good friend/former co-worker/fellow retiree – but wants to remain anonymous like the others. We have found a deserving family who has a handicapped adult child and can truly benefit with fresh vegetables from our farm.
We so appreciate our three donors and are truly grateful to them for their generosity and good deeds!
June 2, 2019: Several weeks ago we posted about an Act of Kindness by longtime customers of ours who donated a full CSA (weekly) share in our next season to someone in need. The recipient of this generous donation expressed her thankfulness and appreciation when we told her.
Shortly after our post, a longtime retired co-worker of mine – a treasured friend – messaged me that she wanted to also make a donation of a half share (every other week) to someone who could greatly benefit from this. Once again, we knew the right person as she is someone whose spouse has acute medical issues. When we informed her about the donation, she was emotional, grateful, relieved….
The donors wish to remain anonymous and, of course, we’re honoring that – and honoring them!

May 16, 2019: We would like to mention about a heartwarming gesture by longtime customers of ours, husband and wife, who recently came to us and said they wanted to purchase a full CSA share for our next season for someone in need and who could not afford it. We told them about someone who could benefit greatly with a weekly share as several family members have chronic medical issues that necessitate the need for organic vegetables. The donors wish to remain anonymous and we are also keeping the new member anonymous as well.
We want to express our appreciation and thank them for choosing us to donate such a generous and thoughtful gift!
