It was a great Farm Tour day yesterday, with perfect weather! Rodger did tours every hour, on the hour, from 9 am until the last one after 1 pm. We enjoyed seeing familiar faces and meeting new people, both at the farm stand and on the tours.

We are so appreciative for the assistance we received from Valerie Ergle who coordinated the tours and Chris Rupe who helped me at the farm stand with all our produce. A resounding success were the cream cheese pound cakes by Lori Germany of Spotted Heifer Farm (along with her organic eggs and wildflower honey) and German breads by Gilda Peebles.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday. Today should be a little more leisurely-paced for us 😀

On Saturday, April 21, from 9 am to 5 pm, Rodger did tours on the farm, on the hour, every hour, with some overlapping!

We had a busy but great time with the tours and at the Farm Stand. For those who missed it or couldn't make it, we plan on having another farm tour in the fall.

Yesterday proved to be a great partnership of our spring Farm Tour and Earth Day! Rodger now has his voice back after conducting tours every hour from 8 am to 1 pm, including an unscheduled last minute one right before 2 pm. We hope that all who toured our farm and were shown how our crops are grown organically now have a little better understanding of the vast undertaking of this process.

We also had our drawing at 2 pm yesterday for our 3 winners (Jean, Katrina and DeLynn) of one of our insulated totes and have notified them.

We wish everyone a great – and hopefully, rainy – Sunday!
